Virtual Support groups & social events held throughout the month for survivors and co-survivors...and of course, we host various fundraisers year-round!

National Young Adult Cancer Awareness Week

April 4-10

New this year! We're featuring stories on what cancer survivors' scars mean to them. The external, visible scars are just as significant as the internal scars (trauma, anxiety, depression), yet both have strengthened us to overcome adversity with tenacity, support, and community love. Join us as we raise more awareness and critical funding for YASU's life changing programs!

Follow Young Adult Survivors United, 100.7 Star Pittsburgh, and Abridge on social media for stories & inspiration!

Sponsored by Abridge, the free app that helps you to revisit your doctors' advice. Abridge securely records conversations with your doctor and transcribes the details of your care so you can stay focused in the moment, revisit key moments, and share your conversation with family.

2021 Pittsburgh Marathon

May 1-2

YASU is an official charity of the Pittsburgh Marathon!

Join us May 1st and run (or walk!) for YASU to help raise funds for this much needed cause.

We (YASU members and community supporters) are completing the 5k (only a $35 registration fee!) on May 1st at NORTH PARK followed by a social distanced celebration.

Safety is our #1 priority! All participants get a free YASU tshirt!

Choose YASU as your "run for a reason" cause and help us continue providing life-changing support programs. AND, when you fundraise a minimum of $150, your registration fee is reimbursed!

On Feb 28, 2021, YASU hosted a free photo shoot for young adult cancer survivors to get head shots and family photos. The following made it possible: Studio RAW Elite, Simply Sisters Photography & Kendra Scott. Thank you Post-Gazette and WTAE for featuring our story!
